The STAR trial is a randomised controlled trial investigating the feasibility, acceptability and efficacy of resistance training among adolescents with cerebral palsy. Sixty adolescents will be recruited into the trial and randomised to a 10 week resistance training programme or a usual care control group. Primary outcome is gait efficiency. The STAR trial data management plan includes information on data collection, data storage, data access, ethical and legal compliance, governance, data preservation, and data sharing. This is a living document and will be updated according to future data collection and generation.
