On Thursday 16 May, Brunel’s Open Research Working Group announced the winners of the 2024 Open Research Awards. At the ceremony held as part of Brunel’s Research Festival, ten winners were announced from across our three Colleges.

  • Dr Mariza Dima – Department of Arts and Humanities (CBASS) & Dr Damon Daylamani-Zad – Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (CEDPS) (Joint Award)

  • Dr Nour Ali – Department of Computer Science (CEDPS)

First run in 2022, this Award scheme celebrates research that uses open research practices, such as preregistration, open data/code/materials and open access publication.
