Growth curve of algae and betaine content determination

<p dir="ltr">Betaine and carnitine standard/Sample solutions were derivatised with a mixture of 2-Bromo-2'-acetonaphthone and 18-crown-6 in N-methyl -2 pyrrolidone in presence of KH₂PO₄ (0.1 M) at 80^◦C (4 h). After filtering, the solution was eluted with 22 mM Choline chloride in 10% H₂O/90% ACN at a flow rate of 1.9 ml/min (Injection 5 µL) at 40^◦C. Betaine content in microalgae biomass was determined using calibration curve of standard betaine.</p><p><br></p>
